| Onesies are the fashion 'must have' in 2016! |
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...” ― Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You'll Go!

PJ and Pizza Day
Coming to school in our pyjamas saves so much time! We should do this all the time - we may never have to get dressed again!
Smile Seat
We had the Smile Seat at school for one week. This is a place where you can sit and chat to another person. It might be someone you know or someone you don't. There were some pockets on the seat with topics or ideas to talk about, but we didn't need any help with that.
Ballroom Dance
We have been learning some ballroom dancing with Dr Joyce and Miss Helen. We have learned the Rhythm Foxtrot and the Meringue and we actually think we are pretty good at it too.
And here is another type of dancing we like to do at clean up time. There are simply no limits to our talents.
Swimming in the school pool
We have been really lucky to be able to use the school pool this year. Some days the water was really warm and others ... not so much. Whatever the weather, we were there and had great fun.
House of Bricks
We had the House of Bricks come to visit and teach us some skills for working together as a team. We learned a lot about this and also a lot about each other. We had five different stations which included Building Cars, Garden Design, Tall, Taller, Tallest, Patterning and Imagination Station.
Two and a half hours of glorious Lego fun!
Term One posts - finally!!!
I have been very slack at getting these posts up and running. I'm sorry and no excuses really. I have set myself a goal to do much better next term.
Here are a few things we have been up to this term though and by the way, your children are the most delightful bunch to work with. I adore them.
This is some of how reading rolls in Year 2.
